Transformational Relevance: Does transformation empower you or challenge you?
Transformational Relevance: Does transformation empower
you or challenge you?
· Are you vulnerable, lack confidence and challenged by the young minds?
· Your experience does not commensurate the productivity?
· Feel challenges with Tech evolution?
·
Remember you have surpassed many hurdles in life
to be where you are?
You have the zeal. You are an epitome of patience, hard work, and dedication. If that is true, why should the transformation of ways of
working is challenging you?
Gone are the days when we were taught that there is no
substitute for hard work. Which apparently means hard work was the key to
success, but this definition of success of yesteryear went to archives with the
changing times.
New time is all about smart work and not hard work. It is
not a change, it is a transformation, then why not pave your way to a transformed
self. Why should your knowledge and experience be undermined by this change?
Check and change:
Transformation: Transformation is
not about the outside. The first transformation trigger is in you. Unless you are ready to ignite the cannon of
transformation in your mindset, the blocker shall remain persistent. Be ready to embrace the challenge and open to
the transformation from hard work to smart work.
My Personal Change Management: As you may
be navigating through a systematic process of change management in your current
organization, this transformation too is another reflection of personal change
management. All you do is raise a
requisition for the change: your trigger in mind and openness is the change
requisition.
Future of Work: The transformation of the
industries from conventional methods to modern ways. Coal used with fire to create steam to run a
locomotive engine is now transformed to be powered by electric
engines. This is a transformation which
reduced the pollution, inhumane ways of work, difficulty in controlling, and so
many more to a hyper-responsive and secure rail transportation. Unless you embraced the transformation,n you
would still struggle with all challenges.
New Ways of Working: Is it just at the
horizon or just at the switch of the button of intention? An intention, empowered with efforts and
openness to adapt. Make that switch, and
you are all set to enjoy the new ride. Completely carefree, confident, and
contained.
Mindset
Shift: The switching of the cryogenic fuse. The spacecraft is all set to
launch from its launchpad to the galaxies. Similar is our minds: just be ready
to change. Remember the changes in banks in 1990s from manual to digital. Our
lives have changed forever for the better.
Innovation:
Key to continued success. Unless you and
your organization is ready to innovate and constantly improve your top-line
products, you may be obsolete. Long-time
market leaders are no longer. Needless to talk about Nokia and Kodak. It is as true as it can be.
Digital Transformation: The invention of network and its usage in all
walks of life has completely transformed the ways of working for the connected
world that we enjoy today. Carrying
currencies to cards and now just your mobile handset is enough to pay any
bills. Be the one to ride the wave of digital transformation. Don’t shy away.
Workplace Culture:
The cultural values are the driving force for any organization. Unless the
organization promotes a culture of embracing and pioneering the changes to
transform, you will never lead or survive. It is equally applicable to
us, too. Unless we are ready to embrace the culture, we will be left
behind or become obsolete in our workplace.
Adaptive Leadership: What decides your ability to survive, sustain, and grow by paving your path through uncertainty, disruption, and complexity by
mobilizing people to face tough challenges and thrive in changing
environments. Strong leaders lead by
example and put others before themselves. Openness to embrace transformational change is a sign of adaptive leaders. Are you one of those?
Growth Mindset: Delving with a growth
mindset creates cultures of continuous improvement, outperforms peers in
innovation, collaboration, and long-term adaptability, helps you to sustain,
survive,e and emerge as a winner. Do I
have that? Yes, I do.
Conclusion:
We all intend to be relevant at all times and not be overshadowed. Some of the research conducted by institutes like Harvard, Stanford’s
Carol Dweck, and McKinsey has affirmed the value of learning. We all have gone
through situations that have challenged our existence at least once. If not, we are out to face one, if we are not
upgrading and open to change.
Do you know what transformation is relevant to us and how it
impacts us?
